At Svens, we use only the very best
of material. Our bases are from Austria
and Sweden. Our leathers come from all
over the United States, Holland, and
our Sheepskin, from Austria.We take
pride that our clogs are handcrafted
in the United States with highly skilled
workers and are proud of every pair
that ship out the door.
We have two sources for our bases.
The first wooden bases has a light weight
wood and a molded polyurethane sole.
This makes the base not only quiet,
but non-skid and longer wearing the
the older traditional Swedish base from
long ago. It has a good arch support
and the wood absorbs moisture from your
feet to keep you feet cooler and dryer.
This base is recommended for chefs,
doctors, nurses, and generally anyone
using it for long daily wear
The second base is the traditional Swedish
base. These bases have a great arch
support and glued on soles. They are
not as quiet and the bases does not
wear as long as the first base.
Because wood stays ridged, it always
has a great back support. You will feel
how good it is for your back and legs.
For people who stand a lot such as surgeons,
chefs, nurses, they feel a lot better
at the end of the day because it eliminates
back and leg fatigue.
You will be able to chose color of the
leather, wooden base style. color of
base and which style you like. Even,
different colors on the pair of clogs.
